Trick or treat!
Trick or treat, or Halloween at our school.
On the last day of October in Anglo-Saxon countries, Halloween is celebrated as the eve of the feast of All Saints. It is associated with a custom dating back to the ancient tradition of the Celts, who believed that on October 31st the spirits of the dead visit the living.
Today, a Halloween Pajama Party was celebrated at our school. It was spooky and fun. The purpose of the party was to introduce students to one of the most popular holidays celebrated in English-speaking countries. During the activities, students learned about the traditions and customs of this holiday, but not forgetting that in Poland on November 1st we celebrate All Saints’ Day and remember the dead.
